Tools of the trade
The apothecary's toolkit hasn't changed since your great-grandmother's version, because it was finished. Nothing here costs much, and most of it you own already.
For making
- Mortar & pestle
- Fine strainer
- Small funnel
- Kitchen scale — grams matter
- Muslin cloths
For keeping
- Wide-mouth jars — many
- Amber bottles — for droppers
- Kraft labels & pen
- A dark cupboard — light is the enemy
- One good notebook — write it down
Keep this one — and get early access.
